US Deliver Long-range Ballistic Missile To Ukraine.


The U.S. has delivered long-range tactical ballistic missiles, ATACMS, to Ukraine, as reported by Major Charlie Dietz, a spokesperson for the U.S. defense department. 

According to VOA, the ATACMS have a range of 300 kilometers, significantly extending Ukraine's missile capabilities.

This delivery was part of a $300 million military aid package provided to Kyiv by the U.S. in mid-March. 

Dietz did not confirm if more ATACMS are included in the latest aid package. 

 According to two U.S. officials, VOA has received information that Ukraine used the ATACMS on Tuesday evening. Various media outlets have reported that these missiles were initially used last week against Russian targets in the Crimean Peninsula, which was annexed illegally.
