Domestic  Violence - Man Deported From Kenya After Being Caught On CCTV Assulting His Physically Challenged Wife

A Nigerian citizen, John Nwankwo Noko, who was caught on CCTV camera assaulting his partner with physical disabilities in Kenya, has been expelled from the nation.

The deportation took place on Saturday, May 4, 2024, as confirmed by a statement issued by State Department of Gender Principal Secretary Anne Wang’ombe. 

The incident, which raised concerns about Gender-Based Violence (GBV), was initially reported to the police by Nominated Senator Gloria Orwoba on May 1. 

Following the viral video that circulated on social media on April 29, Orwoba visited the victim, Pauline, who disclosed that she felt her life was in danger due to threats made by her Nigerian partner against her and her domestic workers.
