Donald Trump Narrowly Escapes Assassination Attempt At Campaign Rally


Donald Trump, the former U.S. president and Republican presidential candidate, was assisted off stage by U.S. Secret Service members after shots were fired during a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. 

The Trump campaign confirmed that he is "fine" and is currently undergoing medical evaluation at a local facility. Donald Trump Jr. assured ABC News that his father is "in good spirits" while being monitored by medical professionals.
According to the AP, a suspected gunman and one audience member have died, as reported by Butler County district attorney Richard Goldinger. Another spectator is in critical condition. President Joe Biden condemned the violence and expressed relief that Trump is unharmed.Both Trump and Biden are engaged in a tight election race, with polls indicating a close competition between the two candidates. Trump is set to officially accept the Republican nomination at the upcoming Republican National Convention in Milwaukee..
