Challenges Omos Faced Early in His WWE Career


In a candid discussion on the Lame Guys Podcast, WWE superstar Bobby Lashley shed light on some of the significant challenges that Omos encountered when he first entered WWE. 
Lashley revealed that due to a few early incidents where Omos unintentionally hurt fellow wrestlers, some WWE personnel advocated for his release. According to Lashley, these mishaps weren’t surprising given Omos's immense size and power, which made even a physically dominant figure like Lashley feel dwarfed in comparison.

Lashley explained that when Omos debuted, he was still adjusting to WWE’s in-ring style. This transition was not always smooth, and a few accidents occurred. Lashley mentioned that some talents, frustrated by these incidents, went as far as to voice their concerns to WWE management, seemingly hoping to damage Omos’s reputation. 

According to Lashley, these individuals were vocal about their discontent, openly criticizing Omos's performances and attempting to sway WWE leadership to reconsider his place within the organization. The pressure from these criticisms, combined with the natural difficulties of adapting to the WWE environment, added to the challenges Omos faced early in his career.
