French President Macron Condemns ‘Poison of Antisemitism’ After Attack on Orleans Chief Rabbi

French President Emmanuel Macron has strongly denounced what he described as the “poison of antisemitism” following a shocking attack on the chief rabbi of Orleans, a central French city. The assault, which authorities are treating as an antisemitic hate crime, has sparked national outrage and renewed discussions on combating religious intolerance in France.


The attack occurred when the chief rabbi, whose identity has not been disclosed, was confronted and physically assaulted by an unknown individual.
