Ogun Monarch Urges Sanwo-Olu to Arrest Mandy Kiss Over Planned Marathon Sex Act

The traditional ruler of Iselu Kingdom in Yewa North Local Government Area of Ogun State, Oba Ebenezer Akinyemi, has called on the Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, to order the immediate arrest of social media influencer Ayomiposi Oluwadahunsi, popularly known as Mandy Kiss.

Oba Akinyemi made the appeal on Friday in response to a viral statement allegedly made by Mandy Kiss, in which she announced plans to engage in a marathon sex act with 100 men in a single day. The monarch described the influencer’s statement as “morally repugnant” and a serious threat to the values and future of young people in Nigeria.

Speaking from his palace in Yewa North, Oba Akinyemi urged Governor Sanwo-Olu and the Lagos State Police Command to take swift action against what he described as “a growing culture of indecency on social media.” He said the planned act, if allowed to happen, would not only degrade the dignity of womanhood but also encourage other young people to engage in harmful behavior for attention.

“This is not about fame or social media trends; it is about the soul of our society,” the monarch said. “I am calling on the Governor of Lagos State to order the immediate arrest of this young lady before her reckless plan destroys the moral fabric of our youth. Our culture, our religion, and our traditions do not support such immorality.”

Oba Akinyemi also appealed to parents, religious leaders, and community elders to speak out against what he described as a rising wave of online content that promotes indecency and undermines cultural values.

“This is beyond just one person. If we allow such acts to go unchallenged, it will become a trend and our future generations will suffer,” the monarch warned.

The call by the Eselu of Iselu has sparked a debate on social media, with some users supporting the monarch’s stance, arguing that influencers like Mandy Kiss wield significant influence over impressionable youths. Others, however, defended the influencer’s freedom of expression, insisting that the state should not criminalize personal choices unless they involve a direct violation of the law.

As of press time, neither Governor Sanwo-Olu nor the Lagos State Police Command had issued an official response to the monarch’s call for Mandy Kiss’s arrest. The controversy continues to fuel discussions on the balance between freedom of expression and the need to uphold public morality in Nigeria’s rapidly evolving digital space.
