Israel Defense Force Salutes Mother And Daughter Who Fought In Different War To Defend Israel

The Israeli Defense Force (IDF) have saluted mother and daughter who fought to Defend Israel in two different war.

LTC Ben Yahuda is the female commander of the Caracel Battalion of the IDF and currently fighting to eliminate the Hamas Terrorist in Northern Gaza. While her mother, a retired soldier also fought in the Yom Kippur War for Israel 50 years back.

The IDF on their Official Facebook page wrote "This is LTC Or Ben Yehuda, commander of the Caracal Battalion, whose troops successfully eliminated approximately 100 Hamas terrorists—ultimately saving countless lives."

Heroism appears to be a family tradition, as her mother earned a military commendation 50 years ago for defending Israel in the Yom Kippur War.

We salute these extraordinary women for their courage and dedication to protecting the State of Israel.
