Qatar And Egypt Negotiating Release Of 15 Hostages Held By Hamas Terrorist

The Israeli Defense Force (IDF) on Thursday 9th of October reported, Qatar and Egypt are negotiating a deal with Hamas leaders to release up to 15 hostages in exchange for a 48-hour humanitarian pause, senior Egyptian officials said. 
Both countries have already secured the approval from Hamas but are pressing the U.S. and Israel to accept the pause of the current fighting in Gaza, they said. - Wall Street Journal.

Hamas invaded the border town of Israel close to Gaza on 7 October, a day the Israeli were having a major festival. Thousand of people were killed and 200 were taken hostage.
