Image
DR Congo U20 women's national team were packed in a room while out on an international duty for the Country. According to report, the teenage girls were in a payment dispute with the country's football authorities; players want $1250 while FA is willing to pay $100. Which the female turned it down and started protesting. We've seen such protest among different female National Team in the continent. Even power house like the Nigeria females also protest time to time for unsettled bonuses with their FA. The Super Falcon won the African Cup of Nation in South Africa years back. But refuse to returned back to their country and holding back the trophy to make a statement to the FA. Is this a deliberate action... Or that we don't value women's football in this part of the world . May be FIFA needs to address this issue.
