Apple Remove WhatsApp From App Store To Comply With Bejien"s Orders


Apple has taken down Meta's WhatsApp messaging app and its Threads social media app from the App Store in China in order to adhere to Chinese authorities' directives, as reported by VOA. 

The removal of these apps occurred on Friday following concerns raised by Chinese officials regarding national security, although the specific concerns were not disclosed.

This action comes at a time of heightened tensions between the United States and China, encompassing trade, technology, and national security issues.
