Naira Abuse - NCS Transfers Socialite Bobrisky from Ikoyi to Kirkiri Prison

According to reports, the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCS) has relocated the well-known crossdresser Idris Okuneye, also known as Bobrisky, from the Ikoyi Correctional Center in Lagos to the Kirikiri Prison.

Bobrisky was sentenced to a six-month jail term on Friday, April 12, 2024, for engaging in activities that undermined the value of the Naira.

A highly reliable source, who is an official of the Nigeria Correctional Service (NCS), informed Leadership that Bobrisky is currently being held at the Kirikiri Prison.

The transfer was carried out discreetly over the past weekend to ensure the safety and security of all parties involved.

The source explained that the move to Kirikiri Prison was a procedural decision, as it offers a more spacious and secure environment compared to the previous facility.

This decision was made in the best interest of maintaining order and ensuring the proper execution of Bobrisky's sentence.

It is important to note that the transfer was conducted quietly due to security concerns. By moving Bobrisky to the Kirikiri Prison, the authorities aim to provide a suitable location for him to serve his term while prioritizing the safety and well-being of everyone involved.
