Police Apprehend And Detain The ADC And Security Personnel Of Yahaya Bello

A female police officer who served as the aide-de-camp to former Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, has been detained by the Nigeria Police Force. Alongside other police officers attached to Bello

 According to DailyTrust, she is currently being held at the State Criminal Investigation Department in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja. 

The Inspector General of Police, Olukayode Egbetokun, issued the order for their immediate withdrawal from the former governor, leading to their subsequent arrests and detention. 

The officers are suspected of aiding and abetting Bello's escape from the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission operatives who had gone to arrest him at his Abuja residence. 

The withdrawal of all police officers attached to Bello was ordered by Egbetokun on Thursday night, as stated in a police wireless message.
