The Skitmakers, Content Creators, and Influencers Guild of Nigeria has issued a statement urging Multichoice to fulfill their prize obligations to BBNaija winner, Ijeoma Josephina Otabor, popularly known as 'Phyna'.
In a formal letter signed by the Acting National President of the guild, Micheal Nwabufo, and directed to Multichoice, the group emphasized the importance of promptly settling the outstanding prizes owed to the winner.
Phyna, the Season 7 winner of Big Brother Naija (Level Up), shared the contents of the letter on her Instagram page, highlighting the need for sponsors like Multichoice, DSTV, and BBNaija to honor their commitments to the winners of the show.
According to Punch, the letter, titled 'Immediate Action Required: Unpaid Prizes for Phyna from Big Brother Naija Season 7', outlined the specific prizes owed to the winner, including cryptocurrency from Quidax Global, a year's supply of Pepsi products from Seven-Up Bottling Company, a trip to Dubai from Travelbeta, and a year's supply of soap products from Evans Industries (Unik Soap). These prizes were part of Phyna's winnings from the reality show held between July 23 and October 2, 2022.
