A car has crashed into a wall at Beacon Church of England Primary School in Everton, resulting in the evacuation of the school.
The car, a white Mercedes hatchback, broke through the brick wall and traveled approximately 10 feet into a room within the school, causing significant damage.
Fortunately, no children were in the vicinity of the collision, and only a passenger in the car sustained a minor injury.
The female driver is currently being assessed at the scene by Merseyside Police.
Some parents witnessed the incident as they were leaving the school.
As a precautionary measure, pupils were sent home for the day, and the school and a section of the adjacent road have been cordoned off by the police. Paramedics, fire crews, and forensics vans were also present at the site.
