Israel Launches Airstrike In Rafah as Natanyahu Vows Painful Blow On Hamas To Free Hostages

Israel launches airstrike, resulting in the demise of 22 individuals in Rafah, while Prime Minister Netanyahu promises a forceful retaliation against Hamas in order to secure the release of Israel's hostages.

According to VOA, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has vowed to take decisive action against Hamas in order to secure the release of hostages held in Gaza. 

In a statement made on the eve of the Jewish holiday of Passover, Netanyahu emphasized the need to intensify both military and political pressure on Hamas. 

He stated that this approach is crucial in ensuring the safe return of the hostages, without providing specific details. 

The Israeli army has confirmed that some of the abducted hostages are being held in the city of Rafah in southern Gaza.
