Woman Sends Concise Message To Ex After She fatally stabs New Lover To Death

In court, a devastated woman confronted her obsessed ex-boyfriend, expressing her everlasting remorse for the day they first crossed paths. 

This emotional encounter took place as he was being sentenced to prison for the horrifying murder of her new partner.

Acconding to the SUN, Kaydon Prior, aided by his accomplice Jason Curtis, mercilessly attacked Harrison Tomkins while he lay defenseless in bed. Using a hunting knife, Prior inflicted multiple stab wounds to Tomkins' chest, legs, and back in a savage and frenzied assault in Crawley, Sussex.

On Tuesday, Judge Jeremy Gold KC delivered the verdict at Brighton Crown Court, sentencing Prior and Curtis to a minimum of 28 years and 22 years respectively for the crime of murder. 

The motive behind their heinous act was their discovery that Alicia Parrin, the victim's partner, had spent time with another man.

Without hesitation, Prior pounced on the 25-year-old Tomkins, repeatedly stabbing him with the hunting knife in a brutal and frenzied manner at approximately 5:30 am on August 13, 2023.

Throughout the trial, the jury was presented with evidence of Prior discarding the knife in the bedroom, assaulting Ms. Parrin, and then leaving the premises to reunite with Curtis. As they made their escape, Prior instructed Curtis to burn his clothes, further attempting to conceal their involvement in the crime.

In a poignant statement delivered in court, Ms Parrin expressed deep remorse for the day she crossed paths with Prior, and acknowledged that she will never fully recover from the trauma inflicted upon the innocent Mr Tomkins. 

She shared, "The events of that night are forever etched in my mind. Time seemed to slow down, and I felt utterly powerless. In the past, I would use sleep as an escape from frightening situations. But now, whenever I close my eyes, I am haunted by his presence invading my room, repeating the unimaginable."

"One of the most distressing aspects is that Kaydon likely takes pleasure in the destruction he has caused in my life. The fear he instilled in me will never dissipate. Even the sound of keys in a door immediately puts me on edge, triggering panic."

Members of Mr Tomkins' family also delivered their statements in court. His mother, Natasha Tomkins, described him as a courageous, adventurous, and generous young man. 

However, she lamented that their once complete and content family was shattered on the day he was taken from them. Ms Tomkins shared, "This targeted attack was senseless and robbed us of our son's future. The physical pain I endure daily is indescribable. I genuinely feel as though my heart is breaking."

During the sentencing, Judge Gold addressed the defendants, stating, "This was a meticulously planned and executed murder of a young man whom neither of you knew or had any rational motive to harm, let alone kill."

"This brutal act was a result of your, Kaydon Prior, complete obsession with Alicia Parrin. She had grown weary of your increasingly coercive and controlling behavior in the final weeks of your relationship. She made it abundantly clear that she would no longer tolerate it, but you refused to accept this simple truth."

Regarding Mr Tomkins, the judge added, "This court has heard heartfelt victim impact statements from his parents and other family members, all of whom are devastated by the loss of this young man who possessed immense potential. He was described as kind, gentle, and charitable. His absence has left an irreplaceable void in his family's lives."
