The Lagos Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has initiated an investigation into Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, for his alleged involvement in the act of spraying Naira notes.
According to Punch Newspaper, this action was taken after a video surfaced showing Bobrisky flaunting large sums of money at the premiere of a movie called "Ajakaju," which was produced by Nollywood actress and producer Eniola Ajao. The event took place at Film One Circle Mall in Lekki, Lagos on March 24, 2024.
Further investigation has revealed that Bobrisky has allegedly committed similar offenses at various other event centers and parties on different occasions. In response to the EFCC's invitation, Bobrisky appeared at the Lagos Zonal Command on Wednesday morning, April 4, 2024, where he willingly provided his statements during the interrogation.
Once the investigation is concluded, Bobrisky will be prosecuted and brought before the court to face charges related to these allegations.
