Israel Displays Iranian Balistic Missile Recovered From Dead Sea

On April 16, 2024, the Israeli military showcased an Iranian ballistic missile that was recovered from the Dead Sea. This display comes in response to Iran's launch of drones and missiles towards the Julis military base in southern Israel.

Israel has urged for the implementation of fresh sanctions against Iran in response to the recent aerial assault carried out by the Iranian military and its allies on the Jewish state.

Iran had lunched several Missiles toward Israel  on Thursday, an action the claimed was in response to an alleged Israeli strike in Damascus on April 1, which resulted in the deaths of several senior Iranian military commanders. 

Israel claims that its air defenses, along with those of the United States and other allies, successfully intercepted and destroyed 99% of the incoming projectiles fired by Iran.
